AUTUMNAL EQUINOX

DAY = NIGHT

The autumnal equinox is on Tuesday, September 22. Our school community will be celebrating on Wednesday, September 23 with in class activities and a school wide outdoor celebration, and the eating of delicious apples to rejoice in the fall harvest.

 If you would like to contribute to this seasonal celebration, please send in apples with your child or to the office, by the morning of Tuesday September 22nd. 

October 12th: No School -Indigenous Peoples Day

October 14th: 1/2 day - Early Dismissal - Professional Development

October 21st: 1/2 Day - Early Dismissal - Caregiver/Teacher Conferences

October 28th: 1/2 Day - Early Dismissal - Caregiver/Teacher Conferences

Thank you to caregivers for returning your emergency forms in such a speedy way. We are close to 100% complete!

Remember to keep me in the loop if your child has any new health issues, med changes, etc.  It helps me communicate to appropriate staff ways we can support your student while in school.

Hello Ryan Road Families! 

Exciting news in our building! Our music teacher, Mr. Matt, is offering a Music Club for grade levels 3rd through 5th.

This class is a great chance to learn more about singing and performing. Whether your student has experience, or if they're just curious and want to try it out! We will be singing a variety of songs while learning new things about our voices, enhancing our musical knowledge, and practicing what it’s like to sing in a group. This class will be a fun experience for all, and a great first step for any students wishing to join chorus in middle school!

It will be held on Monday afternoons from 2:10pm until 3:45pm.

If you’re already enrolled in the NPS-offered after school program, then you can “Sign Up” for the club via Brightwheel. If you have any trouble signing up, please email me directly.

If you’re not enrolled in the after-school program, Mr. Matt and I decided that we’d like to offer the club to all students attending Ryan Road. If you’d like more information, or if you’re interested in signing your child up for Music Club Mondays then please reach out to me at: ablack@northampton-k12.us.
